The Town of West Boylston

West Boylston, a suburban community located in Central Worcester County, has much to offer its residents.  Geographically the town consists of approximately 13 square miles of which approximately half has been acquired by the Metropolitan District Commission for watershed protection.  One square mile is home to the Wachusett Reservoir which supplies Boston and its surrounding towns with their water supply.  Also, because the MDC owns so much property in West Boylston, much of the town remains in its natural state.

West Boylston has three property zones: industrial, commercial, and residential (which is the highest percentage), creating a unique blend of offerings to its citizens.  The Route 12 corridor is the primary commercial district which services all of the residents' needs from groceries to pharmaceuticals to a variety of restaurants and specialty shops.

Although Angell Brook Village will offer its own outdoor activities including walking trails, open space and putting green, the West Boylston "Rail Trail" provides additional options to its residents.

Minutes from Downtown Worcester, West Boylston also provides easy access to major highways including I-190, I-290 and 495 as well as the more scenic routes 140, 110 and Route 12, making it easily accessible to Boston, Providence, Cape Cod and New England vacation spots.
